5 out of 5 starsLove these and cannot wait to put them in the garden once spring comes! Even more beautiful in person than in the pictures. Excellent shop, highly recommend.

5 out of 5 starsBought this as a gift for my fisherman brother, and to say he was thrilled does not truly show how happy he was. It is a beautiful piece of art that he will proudly display. From the moment the order was made to when it was sent, Amanda kept in contact, they obviously love what they do. I highly recommend their shop.

5 out of 5 starsI ordered this bunny garden art for my parents' Christmas gift. I watched on Skype as they opened it - wow! It was definitely securely wrapped - it was like a trick gift LOL. My mom was impressed with the careful and abundant wrapping and that is something! It even had Christmas paper! The note was lovely - everything was perfect! The bunny is beautiful. My dad did not want to put it outside. Thank you so much! If I could give you 10 stars, I would!
About KastawayzArt
Who are Kastawayz and what are they about?
We are a husband and wife team focused on creating beautiful art for your home and garden using 100% recycled metals.
We live in Port Alberni, Vancouver Island, BC Canada. As we are from a fishing town and on the Westcoast, our art features an extremely strong salmon and ocean theme, the birds and trees are a must as everyone loves them!
The primary focus with our art is on the utilization and upcycling of old and discarded metal materials - at times we will also incorporate old lumber to complement our metal work. Every single creation is cut freehand using a handheld plasma - this in turn with the metals rusty patina, pitted steel, faded worn paint, holes and scratches gives it its own unique story, character and personality. We never buy new product, EVERYTHING is recycled and reused and there is no 'process' used to age the metal and give it a rusty look, it is all in its original patina or colour as it was sourced. This is really important to us and is something that we have been doing in all aspects of our lives for over 25 years.
Working with only recycled metals means we create what we see from what we have on hand at the time, this makes custom requests seldom possible. We do however strive to keep our work fresh, fun and unique, offering something for everyone.
