Lighting Designed with Intention
Walk through most big-box stores and you’ll find aisle after aisle of mass-produced lighting — fixtures that feel impersonal, forgettable, and interchangeable. If you’re anything like me, you want another option. You want lighting that feels intentional, thoughtfully made, and reflective of who you are and the home you’re creating.
My name is Bonnidette, born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. I’m a coffee-drinking, book-loving, Great Dane–adoring travel enthusiast — and the creator of Lightenstein.
At Lightenstein, lighting is more than function. Each fixture is handcrafted from solid brass, designed with care, and made to feel at home in spaces that value detail, warmth, and longevity. Some collections lean classic and traditional, others feel cleaner or more contemporary, but all are rooted in quality materials and thoughtful design.
Our current collections reflect this range. The Heirloom Series focuses on traditional forms, ornate brass canopies, and classic glass shades inspired by early American lighting. The Golden Bloom Collection introduces sculptural floral elements cast in brass. Other designs explore clean lines, pull-chain functionality, and timeless silhouettes meant to live comfortably across many interior styles.
Every Lightenstein fixture is created to feel personal — something you notice, live with, and appreciate over time. These are lights meant to be chosen with intention and displayed with pride, not replaced with the next trend.
Lightenstein lighting has been installed in homes, wedding venues, coffee shops, and retail spaces across the United States, and has been featured by NBC, CBS, The CW, Fox News, and more.
My mission is simple: to create lighting you’re excited to come home to — lighting that reflects who you are, enhances the atmosphere you’ve carefully built, and can be enjoyed for years to come.
Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of something as meaningful as your home.
Warmly,
Bonnidette Lantz
