5 out of 5 starsThis piece of art is beautiful, unique, and so sweet! It goes well in my small and cozy apartment. Each time I look at it I’ll be reminded of happy memories in the mountains and inspired to go back.

5 out of 5 starsThe cards are absolutely beautiful! The order came packaged beautifully with a note of appreciation for my business. I’ll enjoy sending the cards to my very special friends, and someday would love to purchase one of Linda’s original pieces of garden fibre art. I love the intricate, colourful work! All the best, Linda.

Me with one of my Aurora Borealis artworks
I Sew on My Paintings
Thanks for stopping by to see my textile art!
I have been sewing on my paintings for over 25 years but I started with embroidery...the painting was added in later. I love the texture of fabrics and threads but I'm also impatient. Painting backgrounds lets me cover the fabric with lots of colour before adding thread.
I make lots of small, friendly art, probably because I live and work in a small space. Some day I would like to make a huge piece of art...5 feet by 4 feet. My favourites to paint are skies with dramatic clouds or dancing auroras. My favourites to sew are grass and spruce trees.
I'm quite obsessed with art but in my spare summer time I love to garden and cycle. In my spare winter time I love to cross country ski and drink tea with cookies.
Always be Sew Happy!
Linda
