Privacy Policy — Little Non-Adventures Studio
This Privacy Policy describes how and when I collect, use, and share information when you purchase an item from me, contact me, or otherwise use my services through Etsy.com.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that I do not own or control, including Etsy or any third-party services you access through Etsy. You can reference Etsy's Privacy Policy to learn more about its own privacy practices.

1. Information I Collect
To fulfil your order, you must provide me with certain information (which you authorize Etsy to provide to me), such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product you're ordering — including any personalization or dedication text you choose to add. You may also provide additional information if you contact me directly with a custom request.

2. Why I Need Your Information and How I Use It
I rely on a number of legal bases to collect, use, and share your information, including:

as needed to provide my services, such as fulfilling your order, settling disputes, or providing customer support;
when you've given affirmative consent, which you may revoke at any time;
if necessary to comply with a legal obligation, such as retaining purchase records for tax law; and
as necessary for my legitimate interests — such as providing and improving my services, and complying with the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure
I share your personal information for limited reasons and in limited circumstances:

Etsy — as necessary to provide you my services and comply with the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.
Gelato (print-on-demand fulfillment partner) — I share your name, shipping address, and personalization text with Gelato solely to print and ship your order directly to you.
Compliance with laws — I may share your information if required to respond to legal process, prevent fraud, or protect the rights and safety of my customers.

4. Data Retention
I retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide my services and to comply with my legal and tax obligations under South African law. I generally keep order records for 7 years, in line with South African record-keeping requirements for business records.

5. International Transfers of Personal Information
I am based in South Africa. If you are located in the EU or elsewhere, your information may be transferred to and processed in South Africa, as well as in the countries where Etsy and Gelato operate and host data. I rely on your consent and the necessity of the transfer to fulfil your order as the legal basis for this transfer.

Access — you may request a copy of the personal information I hold about you.
