Made By Some Human was created by a dynamic husband and wife team, David, the Creative with ADHD, and Caitlin, the Executive Functioning and Operations Wizard.
Early in 2025, David decided to revisit his childhood hobby of drawing for stress relief, and he wanted to learn how to make digital art.
As David improved his skills and enjoyed a boost in mental health from being creative instead of doomscrolling, he wanted to share his art with others who may share his quirky sense of humor and values.
One day, David decided to challenge himself with building a small shop featuring his designs, but he had two pressing problems:
1. He is a terrible multitasker and project manager.
2. How will his shop stand out among the many talented creatives already kicking butt on Etsy?
After much thought, David came to a realization: first, ask his wife for help, and second, build his business around an issue he and other creatives care about, the rapid growth of AI in creative spaces for financial gain.
