About Us
We are a mother and daughter team on Etsy, our name 'Magem' is a combined name from my mother's name MAGgie and my own name EMma - so Magem was born!
When I became ill with Ulcerative Colitis quite a few years ago, I began on a healing journey of prayer and creativity. To help overcome the discomfort of Colitis, I began making jewellery and other beaded creations, this then progressed onto prayer beads - as during my healing journey I began to meditate and pray daily.
When my mother also started creating with gemstones, we decided to work together and create beautiful prayer beads for other people to enjoy.
We have been constantly blessed and touched by the kindness to which our customers contact us regarding our work. It's an absolute joy to know people are finding comfort, peace and healing from our creations. Thank you so much!
