5 out of 5 starsWhat a great experience! We have been searching for a topper for our first Christmas tree and were very excited about the beholder. I had reached out to Rainey to confirm the size of the mini and she was very helpful. We wound up with a green beholder and he looks amazing on our tree! I also had ordered two unpainted minis for my dad, as he loves to paint them. They all look amazing! Rainey also surprised us with a very sweet card and a bonus mimic and crystals! I absolutely am obsessed with this mimic and he lives on my desk so I can have Christmas joy while I work. Thank you, Rainey! I am excited to order from you in the future. I highly recommend everyone else place an order too!!

Why are the painted Beholders so expensive?
They take FOREVER to do and I have to commit to a fair processing time for Etsy to not hold my money. I do three passes with the beholder - getting the rings and the white ruff on the hats is a long process that requires multiple touch-ups. All told it's about 6 hours total to paint one. I charge an extra 30-45 bucks and that works out to about 5 bucks an hour. I'm not a bougie pig, I swear.
Sizing details
All our minis and terrain are printed at 28mm - Dungeons and Dragons mini scale - unless otherwise stated.
Warhammer 40k is 32mm, and HeroForge minis are around 30mm, so depending on the miniatures you're using, you might want 32mm instead.
We can print anything we sell in 32mm as well, but I haven't added these options to listings so it doesn't confuse people who don't play and are buying things as gifts.
