Hola, soy Deniece. Hombres y mujeres vienen a mí por pequeños lotes de productos naturales hechos a mano. Comencé Merrique Handmade en agosto de 2019 aquí en Gaithersburg, MD. ¡Todas las mantequillas de mi cuerpo se baten a mano y todas las velas de soya 100% se vierten a mano con AMOR!
¿Por qué Merrique Handmade?
Mi historia comenzó hace muchos (MUCHOS) años. Cuando era niña, mi madre tomaba clases de cerámica, arreglos florales, tie-dye y macarami y como madre soltera estaba allí mismo, a su lado "creando". Cuando entré en la adolescencia, la creatividad continuó. Empecé a hacer mascarillas con claras de huevo, miel y avena y también empecé a coser mi propia ropa y a enseñarme a hacer ganchillo. En mis años de adulto, esta pasión por crear me llevó a la joyería hecha a mano y después de ser natural en mi viaje por el cuidado del cabello, comencé a hacer mis propios aceites y mantequillas para el cabello. Todos estos eventos me llevan al presente y a la creación artesanal de productos de baño, cuerpo, cabello y hogar. ¡Me encantan mis creaciones y espero que tú también lo hagas!
Hi, I'm Deniece. Men and women come to me for small batches of handmade, natural products. I started Merrique Handmade in August, 2019 right here in Gaithersburg, MD. All my body butters are hand whipped and all the 100% soy candles are hand poured with LOVE!
Why Merrique Handmade?
My story started many (MANY) years ago. As a young girl my mother took classes in pottery, floral arranging, tie-dye and macarami and as a single mother I was right there, at her side "creating". As I entered the teen years the creativity continued. I started making face masks with egg whites, honey and oatmeal and I also began sewing my own clothes and teaching myself to crochet. In my adult years this passion to create lead me to handmade jewelry and after going natural in my hair-care journey I started making my own hair oils and butters. All these events lead me to the present and creating handmade bath, body, hair and home products. I love my creations and hope you will too!
