Hola, soy Michelle, ilustradora, artista y creativa de toda la vida, con cierta tendencia a perderme en laberintos imaginarios.
Mi trabajo combina la pintura y el dibujo tradicionales con la ilustración digital, reuniendo todo lo que he aprendido a lo largo de los años como artista, fotógrafo y diseñador. A veces empiezo con pintura, a veces con lápiz, a veces en mi iPad, y con bastante frecuencia, con un boceto algo tosco que de repente decide transformarse en algo más.
Me inspira la naturaleza, la fascinación infantil y esos pequeños momentos cotidianos que no siempre nos detenemos a observar. Las flores silvestres, los bosques, los estanques, los personajes peculiares, el cambio de las estaciones y alguna que otra travesura suelen encontrar su lugar en mis escritos.
Todo comienza conmigo, con mis manos y mi imaginación. Las herramientas digitales pueden ayudarme a completar el proceso, pero las ideas, los dibujos, las pinturas y las historias son mías.
Tradicional y digital, pero siempre creado por artistas, con la mejor IA disponible… Imaginación activa.
Hello, I'm Michelle — an illustrator, artist and lifelong creative with a bit of a habit of disappearing down imaginative rabbit holes.
My work combines traditional painting and drawing with digital illustration, bringing together everything I've learnt over the years as an artist, photographer and designer. Sometimes it starts with paint, sometimes pencil, sometimes on my iPad — and quite often, a slightly scruffy sketch that suddenly decides it wants to become something more.
I'm inspired by the natural world, childhood wonder and those little everyday moments we don't always stop long enough to notice. Wildflowers, woodland, ponds, wonky characters, changing seasons and the odd bit of mischief tend to find their way in.
Everything here begins with me, my hands and my imagination. Digital tools might help me finish the journey, but the ideas, drawing, painting and storytelling are mine.
