About MilkHoneySoapery

On Etsy since 2017

Creating unique, wholesome, & earth friendly products for you to enjoy!

Cold-pressed and carefully crafted, my small batch soaps are handmade using the most natural ingredients and aged for a minimum of 4 weeks to ensure a quality bar. My unique blend of fragrances are created using only 100% pure essential oils, and my soaps are proudly palm-oil, preservative, gluten and paraban free.

*Special/Custom orders are gladly welcomed, but please give me plenty of notice to allow for the gathering of supplies and the curing period of 4 weeks.

*Please note that I handpour and handcut all of my soaps and therefore slight variations in size, colour and weight may occur. This is part of the allure and beauty of handcrafted soaps. Each of my bars is approximately 4oz.

Thank you for visiting my soap shop! I am the creative hands behind Milk & Honey Soapery. I started soaping because I grew concerned with the amount of toxins my family was being exposed to on a daily basis & handcrafted soap is amazingly healthy!

Frequently asked questions
How to Care for Handcrafted Soap

Great question! The best way to care for handcrafted soaps is to keep the bar from sitting in pooled water. Since our soaps are made with natural oils and free of preservatives, we recommend standing your soap upright on a wooden soap dish with slats for ease of drainage.

Do you make custom orders like wedding or baby shower favors?

Absolutely! We will gladly create unique and lovely soaps for any occasion, but we ask that you give us plenty of notice and allow for the 4-6 week curing time.

What is the benefit of buying handcrafted soap? It's more expensive than store bought.

True, handcrafted soap is more expensive than the store bought soaps (and doesn't last as long) however, the health benefits of handcrafted soaps are HUGE! Unlike store bought soaps which contain harsh chemicals and strong fragrances, handcrafted soaps retained their natural glycerin (needed for healthy skin!), most of which is removed from store-bought bars. Store-bought soaps strip your skin of it's natural moisture, causing you to use lotion after you bathe. Our soaps are created using natural, mostly edible oils such as coconut oil and olive oil which are actually good for your skin! If you can't pronounce the ingredients on the back of store soap, it may not be a good idea to have it absorb into your body! Personal opinion, of course!

Do you personally use the soaps you create?

Wholeheartedly....YES! Before we release any soap, we test it out ourselves! Our family members LOVE our soaps (especially our children!)

What kind of soap process do you use to make your soaps?

Great question! We use only the COLD PROCESS method of soaping as we feel it's the best way to provide a quality product. Even though Hot Process soaping is quicker and does not require the 4-6 week cure time, we feel it lacks the luxury and quality that a cold-processed, cured bar of soap provides. Melt & Pour is another quick way to make simple soaps, but it's not for us (or our customers!).
At M&H Soapery you can be guaranteed we've given you the BEST experience possible for your skin!
