Announcement    🍓 Thank you so much for visiting my shop! My name is Catherine, and I make all the pieces in this shop myself by hand.

🍓 items listed “Made to Order” can take 4-6 weeks to produce. Ceramics is a long process with lots of steps!

🍓 There are 2 firings, the first is a bisque firing around 950C, the second is the glaze firing about 1200C. Each firing takes about 36 hours from start to cooling and unloading. And that’s after the pieces have been made, finished and dried!

🍓Overseas Customers: if you live outside Canada or the U.S. and want to purchase something, please message me and I can give you a shipping quote! The price for shipping overseas can vary greatly depending on the destination and the size of package, so get in touch and we can figure it out!

🍓 thank you all so much, I love being able to make ceramics for people who love handmade things!

Hi! I'm Catherine and I made all the pieces in the shop with my own little hands! I have always loved making things, and I started my creative career as a graphic designer. I fell in love with clay a soon as I got my hands on it, and here we are!

Frequently asked questions

Care instructions

> All pieces are dish washer safe!
> Most items are also micro-wave safe, unless noted specifically on the item listing
> My pieces are made with stoneware, and dark stoneware specially can get very hot in the microwave, so I recommend you are careful when taking them out after reheating. I recommend using oven mitts or a dishcloth.

Shipping and Delivery

All items are hand-made to order, unless marked as ready to ship. Since I am making each item individually based off your order, a lead time of 4-6 weeks should be expected. I will try and complete your order as fast as possible to ensure that you get your item as quickly as possible.
If you need something by a specific date please get in touch and we will figure out together what we can do to make it happen.

My pottery arrived broken :( What happens?

If any of the items in your order arrive broken or damaged in transit, please do the following:
1. Let me know as soon as possible, within 5 days of receiving your package.
2. Please provide photos of the damage
3. Please provide photos of the box if it was damaged, if not please let me know

I will replace any items that have been damaged in transit at no cost to you :) Nothing is worse than having something arrive broken, and it is just as devastating for me. The cost associated for me to replace items for free is significant, but I am happy to do it for anyone who has received a broken item!

Alternatively, we can arrange to refund the items that arrived broken, if you contact me within 5 business days of receiving your package.

I live in Montreal, can I come pick up my order to save on shipping?

Yes! Definitely :) Send me a message and we will set it up and I can provide you with a coupon code to waive the cost of shipping on your order. Once your piece is made, I will send you a message through etsy to let you know your pottery is ready. If you prefer I contact you another way to let you know, please indicate during check-out :)

Custom and personalised orders

I am not currently taking custom or personalized orders, but you can get in touch if you have something you would like made and I can see if its possible :)

Returns

I accept returns from customers in Canada but at this time cannot accept returns from customers outside of Canada.

All customized items are final sale. If you want initials engraved or any other customized item I cannot accept returns for those items.

Items that are returned will be reimbursed but customers are responsible for postage cost of returned items. I will not refund postage price on the original order.

Thank you for understanding!

What does Made to Order mean exactly?

Most of the items in my shop are made to order. This means that when you place an order, it gets added to my production queue. Pottery can be a very long process that involves many steps. From preparing the clay, to making the piece, waiting for it to dry a bit before you can add finishing touches, or assemble the different parts, then wait some more for it to dry enough to put in the first bisque firing, then glazing it, and firing it for the glaze firing.

There are a lot of steps in the process, and I work from oldest order to newest. When you place an order I am not always able to start working on it right away, as there are often other orders in the queue ahead, which is why there is a production time of about 4 weeks.

Overseas Orders (Outside Canada and Contigual U.S.)

I am happy to ship overseas, just send me a message and I will give you a quote for the cost of shipping. It can vary greatly depending on distance and size of package, so just get in touch and we can figure it out!
