What Is Modulus?
Hello! I'm Ryan, the designer and maker behind Modulus.
I started Modulus as a way to combine my passion for 3D printing with my love of designing practical solutions and sharing them with others.
That passion began long before I ever owned a 3D printer. As a kid, I spent countless hours building with LEGO and helping my dad renovate our home. As I got older, that curiosity turned into designing and building battle bots in high school, where I discovered how much I enjoyed solving problems through design and engineering.
While I never found my place in a university engineering program or a corporate design office, I did find it in the skilled trades. After spending nearly a decade working alongside builders and craftsmen, I gained a deep appreciation for tools that are reliable, organized, and built with purpose.
Every product you see here is inspired by those experiences. Whether it's a tool organizer, a homelab accessory, or a digital design, my goal is always the same: create products that are practical, useful, and built to last. I believe good design should solve real problems—not become another gadget that ends up in a landfill.
