    About MonikaKinnerWhalen

    Sales 199
    On Etsy since 2016

Monika Opens a New Pop-Up Shop!

My name is Monika Kinner-Whalen. I have been an Etsy Seller since 2009 over at My Sweet Prairie. Over the years, that shop has been busy selling a jumble of things from small art to embellishments and stablilizers and patterns and such, along with an occasional high end piece of art, a few postcards... What a mess!

THIS shop (TA-DA!) is my new move to stage and sell my embroidery art without all the clutter of fibre artist supplies mixed in.

It is also my way of offering locally sought after art to a larger audience who can't be here at my local galleries exhibitions, brick & mortar boutiques, and sales events. I am in Canada and ship worldwide.

Sometimes this shop will be completely empty. Sometimes this shop will pop up fully stocked. In order to be in-the-know, please sign up with your email at my website

You can also follow along on My Sweet Prairie Studio's Facebook page, or MonikaKinner on IG. The links are nearby. THANKS SO MUCH!

Welcome to my Textile Art Pop-up Shop here on Etsy!
Because I sell much of my work locally through events and galleries, I thought this would be a great way to include those of you who live too far away to purchase my art face to face. When I have local exhibitions and sales, you may find this gallery emptied out. Have no fear! When the supply is there, I will announce a short term pop-up and fill she shop with what I have.

Please go to my website to sign up for my newsetter, This way you will be notified when the shop is full. Thank you!

For higher priced pieces, please contact me directly. I am more than happy to make payment plan arrangements at your convenience. Art will be shipped once the final payment has been received.
I ship with Canada Post. I always chose basic shipping when mailing internationally. If you prefer faster shipping, a quote can be given and the shipping charge will be ammended.

    Additional policies and FAQs
I am happy to take on commissioned work. I can work from sketches I create from you r own personal photos (with permission). I can rework favourite pieces from the past of mine, however, please realize that each piece of art is one of a kind and original. No two are ever identical. Please allow several weeks for completion of Commissions.

My threadwork comes framed. The art prices are set at approximately $10CAD per square inch / 2.5cm for the embroidery piece specifically, regardless of the size of frame. For instance, a 5x5" embroidery framed to 10x10" will be (5'x5'=25 square inches x $10 = $250CAD). All prices are approximate and can vary slightly based on the amount of detailed handwork.

I take great care to post images that are true to the original colours, however, your viewing monitor or mobile device may not be exactly as mine, and so there can be variations but if they occur, they should be very slight.

With my art, I work exclusively from my own personal images, surroundings, and sketches.

My yarn embroidery is done by hand and priced differently.
