I design and print all cards from my home in Ottawa! As a stay at home mom your support means so much to me.

During these times 🦠 I wanted to let you know about how this affects Morgan Makes. Since I am a home business situated in the countryside, social distancing is fairly easy to do. I am able to ship all Greeting Card orders by dropping them in my local mailbox! I am very fortunate to be able to continue my business while prioritizing the health of my community and customers📮❤️🌈

Please allow for some extra time once shipped. I dispatch as quickly as possible but then the orders are in the hands of the postal system. Please remember that a pandemic is happening and you will receive your order if it’s being tardy. I have NEVER had an item not show up. Thank you so much for your support and understanding.

    When I am painting my busy life melts into the background and time seems to stop.

    I've been drawing since I could hold a crayon and participated in extracurricular fine arts programs as a child and teenager. Later going on to study at two Canadian Fine Arts Universities (NSCAD, Halifax & Emily Carr, Vancouver). I wanted to use the skills I developed to build a business. While on Maternity Leave with my first, I dove head first into making my passion a business, and Morgan Makes Illustration was born.

    When I am not painting I am wrangling two tiny humans as a stay-at-home mom. When I am creating my busy life melts into the background and time seems to stop. I illustrate mainly using watercolours and gouache paints.

    Fun facts about me:
    - I am a runner and prefer to run long distances to help clear my brain and come up with new creative ideas
    - I prefer salty to sweet, and my chip cupboard is always stocked
    - Raised by a single mom with my sister in Vancouver, BC
    - Lived all over Canada: Ontario, Newfoundland, Saskatchewan, British Columbia & Nova Scotia. Currently residing in Ottawa, ON.
    - Coffee runs through my veins
