Moztique Memory Boxes was born in 2017 whilst I was living in Mozambique. Using capulana, a traditional Mozambican fabric, I developed a social project with the aim of creating beautiful memory boxes that offered bright, vibrant and one of a kind memories for the many people that spent time living in the diverse city of Maputo. The idea was simple, choose an already made memory box or bring your favourite capulana that could be turned into a keep sake box and filled with your favourite things!
Every box was handcrafted, made with passion and now holds a special story. Although I have since left Mozambique, the people involved in my social project have had doors opened to them in their homeland and the joy that Moztique brought lives on.
As Moztique’s founder, I continue to personally create handmade, one of a kind memory boxes that I hope can fill your home with warmth, love and happiness.
