PRIVACY POLICY - MYFXDESIGNS
Last updated: October 15, 2026

This policy explains how MyFxDesigns ("I", "me", "the shop") handles personal data of customers who buy from the shop on Etsy and of people who contact me. It is written to meet the UK and EU GDPR.

1. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR DATA
The data controller is Jason Krekeler, trading as MyFxDesigns, Washington, DC, United States. Contact for privacy questions: myfxdesigns@gmail.com, or send a message through the MyFxDesigns shop on Etsy. I will reply within one month.

2. WHAT DATA I COLLECT, WHY, AND THE LEGAL BASIS
- Name, shipping address, email and phone number if provided, order details, and any message or personalization you send. I use this to make, ship and deliver your order and to handle questions, returns or problems. Legal basis: contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- Order, payment and tax records. I use these to meet accounting and tax duties. Legal basis: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
- Messages about an order or product. I use them to reply and keep a record of the conversation. Legal basis: contract and my legitimate interest in running the shop properly (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Reviews you choose to post on Etsy. I use them to display feedback about products and service. Legal basis: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Data for the shop's own Pinterest account (boards, pins and pin statistics). I use it to publish my own product pins and measure how they perform. This concerns my account, not visitors. Legal basis: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).
I do not ask for special categories of data (such as health or religion). Please do not include any in order notes or messages.

3. WHERE THE DATA COMES FROM
Most data comes from Etsy when you place an order, or from you directly when you message me. Etsy has its own privacy policy and acts as an independent controller for the data you give it.

4. WHO I SHARE DATA WITH
Only as needed to fulfil your order and run the shop: Etsy (marketplace, payments, messaging); Printify, my print-on-demand supplier, and the print provider it assigns, who receive your name, shipping address and order details to make and ship the product; shipping carriers who deliver the order; Pinterest, only for the shop's own account (no customer data is sent to Pinterest); and accountants and tax authorities where the law requires it. I do not sell your personal data and I do not use it for advertising profiles.

5. TRANSFERS OUTSIDE THE UK/EEA
I am based in the United States, and my suppliers and some platforms operate there or in other countries, so if you are in the UK/EEA your data is transferred outside it. Where this happens, it is protected by safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses, where the provider relies on them. Ask me if you want details.

6. HOW LONG I KEEP DATA
Order and payment records: for as long as tax and accounting law requires (commonly 6 to 10 years, depending on country). Customer messages: up to 3 years after the order, then deleted. Other data: no longer than needed for the purposes above.

7. YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to access your data, correct it, have it erased, restrict its use, receive it in a portable format, object to use based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent where I rely on it. To use these rights, contact me using the details in section 1. I will reply within one month. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office; in the EU, the authority in your country of residence).

8. AUTOMATED DECISIONS
I do not use automated decision-making or profiling that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.

9. SECURITY
Order data is held in Etsy and Printify accounts protected by passwords and, where available, two-step verification. Pinterest sign-in tokens are kept in a private secret store, not shared or published. No system is perfectly secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect your data.

10. CHILDREN
The shop is not directed at children under 16, and I do not knowingly collect their data.

11. COOKIES
I do not run my own website or place cookies. Etsy and Pinterest use cookies on their own sites under their own policies.

12. PINTEREST TOOL
I use a private tool (MyShopManager) to publish and schedule my own product pins on my own Pinterest business account and to read pin statistics. It accesses only that account's boards, pins and pin analytics, stores only the sign-in tokens needed to post, and does not collect information about other Pinterest users or post for any other account. Access can be revoked at any time in Pinterest settings.

13. CHANGES
I may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
