Vivo e respiro questi colori poiché sono la sequenza cromatica di base per i modelli dei nativi americani. Ma ci sono altri colori da esplorare e provo anche a realizzarli.
Ho pensato di realizzare questo tipo di gioielli molti anni prima di realizzarne effettivamente uno. Ho antenati nativi americani e ho sempre amato tutto ciò che sembrava nativo americano. Un giorno ero nel negozio W nella sezione artigianato e con la coda dell'occhio ho notato un telaio per perline. L'ho guardato e rimesso a posto. Mentre me ne andavo, mi sono detto: "Sai, se non compri quel telaio adesso, vorrai tornare a prenderlo più tardi". Quindi ho capito bene allora. Alcune settimane dopo ho investito in un telaio più grande e migliore e alla fine ho iniziato con Etsy. Da allora, ho imparato molto da altre persone che realizzano modelli dei nativi americani e cerco sempre ispirazione su Internet. I thought about making this type of jewelry many years before I actually made one. I have Native American ancestors and I always loved anything that looked Native American. One day I was in the W store in the craft section and out of the corner of my eye I spotted a bead loom. I looked at it and put it back. As I walked away, I said to myself, "You know if you don't buy that loom now, you will want to come back and get it later." So, I got it right then. A few weeks later I invested in a bigger, better loom and eventually started up with Etsy. Since then, I have learned a lot from other people who make Native American patterns, and I am always scouring the internet for inspiration.
