Beeinflusst von surrealistischen Meistern wie H.R. Giger und Zdzislaw Beksinski sowie den farbenfrohen visionären Malern wie Alex Grey und Luke Brown hat Neon Space Frog einen pop-surrealistischen Stil angenommen, der nicht nur als Hommage an die Fantasie, sondern auch als Tribut an das Esoterische, Psychedelische und Übernatürliche funktioniert.
Greg Nowachek lebt derzeit in Freehold, New Jersey, und hat seine Arbeiten bereits auf zahlreichen Horror-Conventions und Kuriositätenmärkten ausgestellt. In enger Zusammenarbeit mit lokalen Marken und gleichgesinnten Horror-Enthusiasten wurden seine Arbeiten auf Albumcovern, Tattoo-Designs, Firmenlogos und Kleidung präsentiert.
Neon Space Frog was coined by Sci-Fi & Fantasy artist Greg Nowachek, as a way to combine the imagery of the Fantastic and the Psychedelic all into one colorful hybrid of imaginary wonder. Focusing on both the lighter and darker sides of Visionary, Surrealist, and Fantasy art, Neon Space Frog fuses a vibrant array of celestial colors into an otherwise dark and subconscious genre. Inspired by a life-long obsession with Horror, Science-Fiction, and Mythology, this collection of illustrations offers a vast assortment of characters ranging from monsters and aliens, to visions and dreamscapes.
Influenced by Surrealist masters such as H.R. Giger and Zdzislaw Beksinski, as well as the colorful Visionary painters like Alex Grey and Luke Brown, Neon Space Frog has adopted a pop-surrealist style that functions not only as an homage to fantasy, but also as a tribute to the esoteric, psychedelic, and the supernatural.
Currently residing in Freehold, NJ, Greg Nowachek has exhibited his work across a vast array of horror conventions and oddities markets. Working closely with local brands and like-minded horror enthusiasts, his work has been featured on album covers, tattoo designs, company logos, and apparel.
