Luxury is in the details
I used to believe that luxury meant a certain amount. I would often say "I want to live a luxury lifestyle." Coming up I didn't have much, so I felt like I had to chase tangible things. I would just work and work to try to get more and more because I was chasing a feeling. No matter how much I gained I still didn't have that feeling I was looking for. As time would pass I began to be more expressive, have a sense of humor and not take everything so serious. I began to live through my surroundings and intentional expression. I began to put more focus on the details of my everyday life and within that I found that feeling. I found comfort. I began to be expressive through my clothes, through writing in my journals and through my daily habits. Things as simple as drinking out of a mug that made me laugh, or wearing a shirt that was a reflection of my character. This is when I decided to create "Novyn Living" The word "Novyn" means "new" or "freshness", and this describes exactly what I was experiencing, new living. The definition of luxury refers to a state of great comfort. It is defined as a non-essential good or service that brings pleasure. It is my hope that when others make a purchase from my store, they feel some level of luxury.
