Nací y crecí en Atenas, Grecia. Provengo de una familia de artistas, lo cual me ha influenciado hasta el día de hoy. Recuerdo de mi infancia paseando por el taller de litografía de mi padre. El gran equipo offset se alzaba sobre mí como si estuviera paseando por una gran ciudad, con los sonidos rítmicos generados por la reproducción de la maqueta, culminando en el milagroso proceso de impresión. Incluso hoy, el aroma que desprendía al hojear un libro me llena de recuerdos y emociones. Esa emoción es la razón por la que siempre llevo conmigo un cuaderno, donde escribo pensamientos e imágenes de todo lo que me inspira. Gracias a esto, comprendí la esencia lujosa del papel y el poder de la ilustración y la escritura, que me acompañarían el resto de mi vida. Siendo una niña introvertida con una mente inquisitiva, desarrollé la capacidad de visualizar emociones y la palabra escrita, lo que me llevó a estudiar arte y diseño. Gracias a mi larga experiencia profesional, pero sobre todo a mi introspección personal, desarrollé un amor por observar experiencias y capturar esas imágenes, emociones y sonidos para compartirlos con ustedes a través de mis pinturas. Aprendí a seguir el camino que la vida me mostró y a apreciar la belleza que me rodea, siempre mirando el lado positivo de las cosas.

I am a native of Athens, Greece born and raised. I come from an artistic family, which has influenced me to this day. I have memories as a child wandering around my father’s lithography workshop. The large offset equipment towering over me as if I were taking a walk in a big city with the rhythmic sounds generated by the reproduction of the maquette and culminating in the miraculous process of printing. Even today the scent that emerges during my browsing through a book causes me to brim with memories and emotion. That emotion is the reason why I always carry a notebook with me, writing down thoughts and images of whatever inspires my mind. Through this, I realized the paper’s luxurious essence and the power of illustration and writing that would accompany me for the rest of my life. Given that I was an introverted child with an inquisitive mind, I developed the ability to visualize emotions and the written word that took me on a path to study art and design. Because of my long-term professional experiences but mostly through personal insight, I developed a love of observing experiences and capturing those images, emotions and sounds in order to share them with you through my paintings. I learned to pursue the path that life showed me and to cherish the beauty that surrounds me. Always looking on the bright side of things.
