Why No Free Shipping
Free shipping is a bit of a misconception, because either people or the environment pay for it. Our shipping fees are not hidden in the price of a low-cost item with a significant margin; they are transparent; our products are high quality and handmade in Canada. We all pay for shipping in some form because goods do not magically teleport around the world, and it has an environmental impact which must be compensated for. We work hard to bring you the best price possible; all of our orders are gift wrapped; we use only biodegradable, recyclable, or recycled packaging; and we only work with responsible delivery services.

I’m wondering what material the stocking is made from?
The stockings are made from wool blankets, not only is wool a natural biodegradable material. It has also served its life as blanket and was no longer needed. I’m a big fan of lifecycle extension, meaning that a material that no longer serves, can be redesigned and made into a new product.
The same is true for the candle holders. They served as yoghurt cups before they became candle holders. Recycling is one thing, repurpose is another.
Now it will bring joy to your home at Christmas or as gift and home accessory for many more years to come.
For the holiday season of 2022/2023 I will also be offering stockings made from linen. Certification: OEKO-TEX 100 certified, 100% Sustainable material

Yes absolutely. The availability of colours depend on the supply of blankets, I’m able to secure. I’m always looking for White, Pink, Blue and Green blankets. If you have some and no longer need them, please contact me.
Just ordered a stocking from your shop and I should have checked the box to upgrade my shipping -- is there a way to add that now?
Please contact me, I can add a listing for upgraded shipping only. Your order will then be shipped with the upgraded shipping option.
