For the love of webbing
Todo comenzó cuando estaba embarazada de mi 2º hijo. Quería crear lazos, hacer atuendos y monograma todo. Así que empecé a hacer arcos... eso fue satisfactorio durante unas semanas. Luego heredé la máquina de coser de mi abuela... aquí es donde me impactó. Comencé a hacer diademas para mi hija mayor, sus amigos y nuestra familia. Estaba cosiendo todo el tiempo. Luego probé suerte en los atuendos para mi recién nacido, pero rápidamente me di cuenta de que esto requería mucho tiempo, esfuerzo y paciencia (lo que me empezaba a faltar después de que apareciera el # 2).
Una amiga mía le hizo a su hijo un cinturón que pensé que era brillante. Comencé a buscar cómo podría incorporar mi propio estilo y amor por la ropa en un negocio. Después de vender algunos aquí y allá, llevé mi nuevo pasatiempo a Etsy para ver cómo le iría. Estoy TAN agradecida y bendecida de haber tomado esa decisión. Todavía estoy aprendiendo, pero hasta ahora, he tenido éxito en mi pequeño pasatiempo y continuaré creando, agregando y vendiendo. Así que ahí es donde estoy ahora.
It all started when I was pregnant with my 2nd child. I wanted to create bows, make outfits, and monogram everything. So I started making bows...that was satisfying for a few weeks. I then inherited my grandmothers sewing machine...this is where it hit home for me. I started making headbands for my oldest daughter, her friends and our family. I was sewing all the time. Then I tried my hand at outfits for my newborn but quickly realized this took a lot of time and effort and patience (what I was starting to lack after #2 came along).
A friend of mine made her child a belt that I thought was brilliant. I started looking into how I could incorporate my own style and love of clothing into a business. After selling a few here and there, I took my new hobby to Etsy to see how it would do. I am SO thankful and blessed that I made that decision. I am still learning but so far, I have been sucessful at my little hobby and will continue to create, add and sell! So that is where I am now.
