Zero waste, Vintage, Retro, Recycled fabric masks.

Ottawa West, Ontario

Announcement    As the world battles the coronavirus pandemic, more and more protective equipment is ending up in the sea.

Globally we are using 129 billion face masks and 65 billion plastic gloves every month, according to some estimates.

And divers and observers are spotting more of this discarded waste floating underwater, causing problems for wildlife and washing up on shorelines all over the world.
Doug Cress, Vice President of Conservation, Ocean Conservatory

By purchasing a zero waste mask from my shop you are doing your part to help reduce waste. I have used only fabric from my inventory and second hand sources. I have purchased no new fabric. Zero. None.

Thanks for your support. ❤️

To date I’ve donated 50 masks to CHEO our local kids hospital for parents and their children to wear when they enter the hospital.

For the love of crafting...

Lifelong sewer with a love of vintage florals and bright retro fabrics. Sewing masks was a no brainer once covid hit and I had more spare time In the evenings while working from home and seeing the needs for masks with my own family and families. Luckily for me, I have a great supply of vintage, retro and recycled fabric that I’ve collected over the years to tap into. While some masks are new fabric, the majority is one of a kind which makes them unique. Enjoy your new mask knowing you’re OOAK!
