The Story of Poppy Threads Studio
My journey creating Poppy Threads Studio started with the inspiration of hand designing my own & the only digital embroidery of hearing aids and cochlear implants. Particularly, I was born severely hearing impaired and noticed the limitation of gifts that celebrate special traits.
Realizing that many guests are also looking for gifts that celebrate unique characteristics of loved ones or high quality keepsakes for special occasions, I dedicated my time to create Poppy Threads Studio.
The name is based on the idea of celebrating and remembering life's special moments. From hearing for the first time with bionic ears or receiving the very first set of hearing aids, baptism or christening, family, weddings, house warming, military appreciation, to keepsakes that lovingly mark the memory of loved ones.
Poppy Threads Studio provides only the highest quality selections just for you or your recipient. Additionally, I create my own propriety designs that are unique and cannot be found elsewhere and also showcase artwork from other excelled artists with permission. Each listing will provide the originality of each selected artwork.
As for materials, the studio utilizes the best materials you come to expect. Emphasis on child and sensitive skin friendly such as only using toxic free materials. Only sourcing from well regarded companies with a focus on supporting other small businesses.
A portion of each sale will be donated to reputable & proven charities. Either the charities described below or a chosen charity that focuses on children missions, veteran appreciation or programs for those with special needs:
Sew Powerful's "3 Esthers Farm." A tiny but growing ministry that focuses on providing work for mothers, educating children, and farming for one of the poorest regions of Africa. Learn about their mission @ https://www.sewpowerful.org/pages/feeding-hungry-children-in-zambia
Amazima Ministries. Founded by Katie Davis Majors, this ministry focuses on teaching and empowering children in Uganda. I highly recommend her books for heart and soul warming stories of her journey through adoption and establishing a children's school. Learn about this program @ https://amazima.org
Thank you for supporting Poppy Threads Studio! I look forward to designing and creating embroidered art for you and your loved ones. It is an honor for Poppy Threads Studio to participate in your special moments.
