We chose the poppy with intention — because no flower tells the story of a woman’s health journey quite like this one.
The poppy is deceptively delicate. Its petals look fragile, almost translucent in the light. But poppies grow where other flowers refuse to — in rocky soil, on roadsides, in the cracks of places that seem inhospitable to life. They do not wait for perfect conditions. They bloom anyway. Boldly. Brilliantly. In full, unapologetic red.
Look closely at our logo and you will see two poppies — one rendered in vibrant watercolor, alive and fully in bloom. The other drawn in simple lines — still becoming. Still growing. Still finding her form. That is intentional. Because every woman who comes to Poppy’s Field is somewhere on that journey. Some of you are in full bloom, claiming your health with confidence. Some of you are still tracing the outline of who you want to be. Both are exactly right. Both are exactly welcome here.
The poppy has also been revered for centuries for its healing properties — used across cultures and across time to ease pain, restore rest, and bring relief to suffering bodies. That is the work we are in, too. Not to cure, but to equip. To give women the knowledge and the tools to advocate for their own healing, in their own time, on their own terms.
And one more thing about poppies — they self-seed. They spread. One poppy does not bloom alone. It produces hundreds of seeds that carry on to the next season, the next field, the next generation. That is exactly what we hope for when a woman finds something in our store that changes how she understands her own body. That she shares it. That the knowledge spreads.
