Quando siamo arrivati negli Stati Uniti, ho cercato su Google abbigliamento e accessori afro per mia figlia, ma non ne ho trovati, nemmeno qui su Etsy. Io e mio marito abbiamo deciso di cambiare. Dato che abbiamo il dono del disegno e della grafica, abbiamo pensato di creare immagini afroamericane per gli utenti di macchine da taglio, da utilizzare per le loro attività.
La comunità di artigiani ha accolto con entusiasmo l'idea e l'ha portata avanti. Nel 2018, una delle nostre idee e dei nostri progetti originali, i file "Peekaboo Boys and Girls svg", è diventata virale e ha cambiato l'anno scolastico per la maggior parte dei nostri bambini afroamericani. Gli artigiani hanno creato zaini e accessori per i loro figli e per i clienti. È stato bellissimo!
Il nostro obiettivo è popolare il mondo con immagini e articoli dei/per i nostri bambini afro, affinché possano vedere che anche loro sono belli e adatti a essere rappresentati nel mondo e nell'industria dell'abbigliamento.

When we came to the USA, I googled afro clothing and accessories for my daughter and I couldn't find any, not even here on Etsy. My husband and I decided to change that. Since we have the gift of drawing and graphic designs, we planned to create African American images for Cutting machine users to use for their businesses.
The crafting community embraced the idea and ran with it. In 2018 one of our original ideas and designs the " Peekaboo Boys and Girls svg files" went viral and changed the school year for most of our African American children. Crafters created backpacks and accessories for their kids and customers. It was beautiful to see!
Our goal is to populate the world with images and items of/and for our Afro children so they can see that they are also beautiful and good to be represented in the world and in the clothing industry.
