Proper Stitch Co. began with a simple mission: to create beautiful, high-quality embroidered pieces for our growing family.
As we prepare to welcome our first baby girl, we felt called to start something special together — a small embroidery and monogram business rooted in love, faith, and family. When we couldn’t find the exact monogrammed pieces we envisioned, we decided to create them ourselves. What began as a personal project quickly grew into a passion for timeless, custom embroidery done the right way.
We’re a husband-and-wife duo, true Southerners at heart, now calling the DFW area home. In the South, monograms are more than tradition — they’re a way of making something truly yours. That belief shapes everything we create.
We carefully select quality garments and apply precise, durable embroidery designed to last beyond a single season. Our hope is to create thoughtful, meaningful pieces — whether for your little ones, your home, or a gift for someone you love — all made with the same care and standards we hold in our own home.
