Ik ben ruim vijf jaar geleden begonnen in de spiegelbranche. Destijds was mijn doel simpel: hoogwaardige, duurzame spiegels maken van eerlijke materialen. Naarmate ik duizenden spiegels maakte en over de hele wereld verstuurde, merkte ik dat mijn klanten steeds tegen hetzelfde probleem aanliepen. Standaard spiegels uit de winkel passen zelden perfect in hun specifieke ruimtes, vooral niet in ruimtes met hoge plafonds, grote dubbele wastafels of bijzondere kantoorindelingen.
Die specifieke uitdaging vormde de inspiratie voor de oprichting van Raw Mirror. Ik realiseerde me dat mensen niet zomaar een stuk glas wilden om in te kijken; ze hadden functionele, architectonische oplossingen nodig. Ik wilde verder gaan dan de 'one-size-fits-all'-aanpak en me volledig richten op maatwerk.
De wetenschap dat een product dat we van begin tot eind zelf hebben gemaakt een permanent en betrouwbaar onderdeel van iemands huis of bedrijf zal worden, maakt dit werk zo bevredigend. We zijn geen massaproductiefabriek; we zijn een werkplaats die zich toelegt op het exact namaken van uw specifieke afmetingen.
I started my journey in the mirror business over five years ago. Back then, my goal was simple: to create high-quality, durable pieces with honest materials. Over time, as I crafted and shipped thousands of mirrors across the globe, I noticed a recurring challenge for my customers. Standard store-bought mirrors rarely fit their unique spaces perfectly—especially when dealing with high ceilings, large double vanities, or specific commercial layouts.
That specific challenge is what inspired the creation of Raw Mirror. I realized that people didn't just want a piece of glass to look into; they needed functional, architectural solutions. I wanted to move beyond the "one-size-fits-all" approach and focus entirely on custom fabrication.
