Product Details - Damaged/ Lost Parcel Details
Please note that due to the many vintage types of products that we sell, we strive to accurately describe the condition of all items, however there may exist inherent characteristics within each item that reflects its vintage nature.
Once delivered, items cannot be refunded for theft. That is a matter for your postmaster, police, and home insurance.
Item must be returned in the condition it was sent to you.
Damaged/lost in shipping...you must fully cooperate with filing a claim with the post office or shipper, and you will be refunded once the claim is finalized. Shippers/insurers may require you to
Process in Determining A Customer Receives A Refund
We work with every customer to understand each situation even if we have to contact any sources involved in the handling of the product.
Once we receive the item back we will do an examination of the product which may require contacting the supplier where we originally purchased the product or the specialist who appraised the product to confirm its the original product. The item also has to be in the same working, clean condition when sold.
Once we can confirm the item is the original in same condition we will issue a full refund.
If the item is not the original or has been altered in any way, we will provide our proof/results to verify the item is not the original or has been changed. We have the right to refuse the refund.
International Packages
If the parcel safely departs Canada we do not honour missing packages.
Time Frame to Contact us About A Return & Supporting Documents When Returning A Product
Any issues with product(s) must be communicated within 3 days of receiving the product(s), otherwise the purchaser foregoes the opportunity for issue resolution.
It’s required, upon agreement of a return, that the purchaser provides a tracking number or proof thereof, WITHIN 2 DAYS from the date that both parties have agreed to a return. A failure to comply with this policy results in the forfeiture of any possible refund.
It’s required that the item to be returned be received by the seller, by NO LATER than 7 business days after the agreed upon return date. Any exceptions to this policy MUST BE AGREED UPON by the SELLER.
The word “RETURN” must be indicated on the parcel, otherwise the customer is responsible for any boarder fees.
How Do We Care For Our Products
Every product we collect and we sell has been hand selected to ensure the product is clean and in good condition with all original pieces and components.
All our clothing products are stored in a clean and smoke free environment with no harsh perfumes or moth ball smells.
All our jewelry products are first cleaned when we receive them and then again when the customer completes their purchase. We have commercial cleaners and equipment to guarantee our jewelry is in a clean condition. Please note some of our jewelry is antique and have special stones, therefore we do our best to hand clean these items and some of the pieces do have a tarnish look and cannot be polished.
Shipping Fees
All shipping fees are calculated by the courier company we use (Canada Post) and we do not make any profit from our shipping fees. We try our best to keep these rates as low as we can to ensure the customer is receiving the best rate.
Please note: we will cancel an order if the rates extremely exceed the amount the customer has already paid since the cost of shipping goes over the value of the product.
Unfortunately the rates do change and is out of our control. We will do our best to communicate this with all customers.
Undeliverable Purchases
If the courier has deemed a customers purchase undeliverable, and therefore sent back to the seller, any associated costs for the return will be borne by the customer.
Such amounts incurred will be deducted from the amount refundable to the customer.
