My name is Alicia and I am the person behind Blessed Soul Laser Designs. Let me tell you a quick overview of my background – I was born in Mexico and migrated to Canada at a very young age. Coming from a family of eight has made me appreciate the quiet and has made me extremely introverted – I have learned over time when I need to "charge" and when I can “party” – which by the way rarely happens. I have a bachelors degree in Business – Accounting. My career path has taken me from working with construction companies to opening up my own bookkeeping business, which I still run a couple of hours a week.
I am someone who has always needed to be learning or creating something. I feel like I have finally found something that I really enjoy doing, and the timing is great. My son is now fulltime in Kindergarten and I have the time to do the two things I enjoy – being a mom (being able to be there when my son needs me) and running this business fulltime.
I am fortunate to be where I am at this very moment. It has been a road less travelled to get where I am but all the sleepless nights, the long hours learning and testing files has been worth it. I am beyond blessed (hence my business name) and I realize that I could not be here without the support of all my creative community and all those who faithfully support my business, so a big THANK YOU to all of you!
I don’t know what the next year looks like. All I know is that this chapter of my life feels really good and I am beyond thankful to have you along for the ride.
