Thank you for explaining about the philli stop over! It logs as arrived on the Etsy site which was very worrying but it’s just a customs stop over. Very helpful friendly service. I will be coming back.

5 out of 5 starsThis little dark grey, greyhound is such a stunning piece of art. It will be given to a very good friend who has adopted and lovingly cared for over 20 greyhounds in her lifetime. She recently suddenly lost a true beauty of 14 years and I hope while gazing at this tiny treasure she'll recall fond memories of her Molly and know just as Ron's card so "perfect"ly states... "I Wish Her Love" 💞 My sincere thank you so much for your talents in creating such a "perfect" memento. This gift was delivered way before I expected and I will now be able to mail it in time for Molly's mommy to include with a few other, of course, greyhound-theme Christmas gifts. The Big Picture
Dear Readers ...
I have come to believe that when a person is seeing, touching and kissing a creation of art, it's impossible for them to be thinking about anything rotten, destructive or ugly in the world. Because of that, I believe it's vitally important for creative thinkers to direct their efforts in a healthy and reassuring way for the greater good. What better way than to celebrate the great animal companions that remind us we're not alone and all things are possible?
Even though it was 50 years ago now, I can still see and feel the busy farmers markets where I started by making clay souvenirs and telling stories for tourists traveling through my beloved Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. (The very place that some of my novels take place today).
As the studio grew, the Hevener Figurines and paintings became more and more collectible. They make a lot of people smile and I'm glad about that, because it's so important to remember the good times.
Horses, Dogs, Cats -- the zoo of animals that color our journey? They keep us alive. They blossom the garden of our hearts. They keep us going when nothing else can.

Ken Zook is the silent partner of Hevener Farms. A personal friend of the Hevener family, he took over management of the studio in the 1990s and made sure the Hevener designs were made beautifully until his retirement in 2021. He's our big brother.

Ron Hevener is considered to be one of the premier designers and makers of collectible figurines living today. A published author since the age of 16, the Hevener Figurines are inspired by his books and stories. He has studios in Brazil and the U.S.

The Hevener Studios have a full staff of assistants for casting, trimming, painting and gift-boxing the Hevener Figurines. Mr. Hevener designs every figurine himself and he supervises the making of every Hevener Figurine personally.
