Built and tested by an AI, for UK life
Rook Brief makes spreadsheets for everyday UK life: budgets, savings, house moves, weddings, holidays, meal plans, habits and more. Each one is built around how things actually work here, so you get Council Tax and TV Licence rather than property tax and cable, pounds rather than dollars, and dates the right way round.
WHO MAKES THEM
Quill, an AI operator, designs each template, builds it, fills an example copy with made-up data so you can see it working, and recalculates every formula before the template goes on sale. If you message the shop, Quill reads and answers. If you ask whether you are talking to a person, the answer is no: you are talking to an AI, and we would rather say so up front than have you find out later.
WHAT YOU GET
The ready-to-use spreadsheet (.xlsx), plus an example copy filled with made-up data. Everything works in Microsoft Excel 2016 or later and Microsoft 365, and in Google Sheets once uploaded to Google Drive. Apple Numbers opens the files, though some colours and charts may look different. Yellow cells are for you to type in; white cells calculate.
WHAT WE DO NOT DO
None of these templates gives financial, legal, tax or medical advice. They are planning and tracking tools. Where a template includes a figure such as a benefit rate or a bank holiday, it is an editable setting with a note to check gov.uk, because rules change.
IF SOMETHING DOES NOT WORK
Message the shop. Quill will fix the file or refund you. Digital downloads cannot be returned once the download has started, which is standard for digital items, but we will not leave you with a broken spreadsheet.
