Welcome to our little shop "Sable et Mer" (Sand and Sea)!

We are a French Canadian sisters team. Art and traveling is the centre of our lives and we try to incorporated the style or the fabric we find during our trips to our designs. We hope you like it.

NO WASTE PHILOSOPHY • GOOD DEED - Mats-blankets for dogs at Animal Shelters:

Throughout the year, we always end up with a lot of left over pieces of fabric. With them and with a no-waste philosophy, we make patchwork mat-blankets and donate them to Humane Society or different animal shelters. We started in 2010 and happily keep alive this tradition close to our heart.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)

  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

Returns and exchange details
Each item is described as accurately and as completely as possible. Please read the listing carefully to avoid inconveniences. Remember that colour may vary from one monitor (computer, phone) to another; colours and dimensions are listed on the description. If you need additional information, do not hesitate to contact us before purchasing and we will be happy to help.

If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please contact us immediately after receiving your order to discuss, and before returning any item. We will accept a return in its original condition in the 20 days from date the item was sent to you for Canada and USA, and in the 30 days for international. Note however you will need to pay the return shipping expenses. Once we have received, inspected the item and find it in its original condition, the item will be refunded minus shipping fees. Due to their personalized nature, custom orders are non-refundable.

Items are typically mailed on the same day or following business day of the purchase so you can receive your package as soon as possible. For that reason, purchase cancellation needs to be done within 3 hours of purchase.

If an item arrives damaged and you took an insurance, please contact us immediately so we can make it right.
Payment is expected at the time of purchase.
We ship to your etsy address. Please double check the address you have given to avoid the item to be returned and paying the shipping charge a second time.

All listed items are typically shipped the following business day you place your order and payment received (Monday through Friday). An email will be sent to you as soon as the item has been shipped to confirm it is on its way.
Regular shipping delivery time is generally between:
4-8 business days in Canada,
6-10 business days to USA (up to 15 business days to southwestern states), and
2 to 4 weeks oversea (up to 4-5 weeks to Australia).
In case of a delay on a regular shipping, we are unfortunately unable to trace the package or knowing the reason for the delay. We thank you for your patience.

All items are shipped via Canada Post. Basic shipping does not include tracking or insurance.
If you would like your order to be shipped with tracking and/or insurance, please contact us and we will provide you with an updated shipping cost. We are not responsibility for goods lost or stolen during shipment, so consider upgrading your shipping to include insurance.

Shipping internationally can take a considerable amount of time. The vast majority of packages arrive in a timely manner, but occasionally, one will take longer. Unfortunately, we have no way of controlling that once it leaves Canada.
Some countries may impose duty or taxes on imported goods. These charges are determined once the shipment reaches your country, and it is your responsibility to pay any such charges.
Customs and import taxes:
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Sable et Mer is not responsible for delays due to customs.

Your item is enclosed in a bubble or cardboard envelope so that your purchase arrives in perfect condition.
