Announcement    Porcelain pottery, including mugs, garden markers, bowls, garlic jars, French butter dishes, spoon rests, and vases. Hand thrown of porcelain clay, each one is created to bring a bit of beauty into objects you use every day. Inspired by nature, the patterns are all individually hand painted, although some pieces are simply glazed with stamped designs highlighted with bright colored glazes. These are pots made to be used, are microwavable and dishwasher safe. Maybe they will take you back to a simpler time, like visiting your grandmother’s kitchen.

Don’t make something unless it is both necessary and useful; but if it is both necessary and useful, don’t hesitate to make it beautiful. – Shaker Philosophy, that inspires my work.

While this doesn’t apply to my work 100%, since not everything is necessary it is something that I keep in the back of my mind. The bit about “don’t hesitate to make it beautiful” is what stands out the most. If you are going to have things (and who doesn’t) they should be items that you appreciate, use and enjoy.

Local pickup is always an option. Please use the word LOCAL in the coupon field if you would like to pick-up your order at my studio rather than have your item shipped.

With a mom who collected pottery from every state that we visited, my love for clay started at a young age. I remember visiting a potter's studio and being mesmerized which led to a Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree, concentrating on ceramics.
