5 out of 5 starsThis pattern is so easy! It would be good for an adventurous beginner (I say adventurous because there is pockets and binding which can be tricky for some) this pattern IS NOT AI, so it’s measurements are accurate and the pattern actually makes sense to put together. Putting together the pattern was super easy and all of the pieces actually lined up. I love the dress, it a very good simple staple that’s easy to throw on, I just finished making it (hence the awful hair in my photos) and i love and and will absolutely be making more. I used one size of a queen size bed sheet (so one side of the bedsheet) and all of the pattern pieces fit on the one side of the sheet so it’s pretty fabric efficient too! I love the length (I’m 176cm so quite tall) and it’s the perfect midi length dress for me.

5 out of 5 starsI am looking forward to making this dress for spring and summer. It has a nice shape and I really like the elbow length sleeves that are gathered into a band.

5 out of 5 starsEasy to download/print. I bought A4 paper so that was an extra cost ($11/500 sheets on Amazon). Instructions were clear and all the pattern markings matched. I did make minor alterations to the pattern…I am 39 bust/34 waist/43 hip). I cut a 14 bodice, graded to a 16 at the waist. The skirt piece for the 16 was too wide in the hips so I trimmed 1/2 inch off down the skirt sides. I lengthen the skirt 1 inch based on other reviews but it wasn’t really necessary for me (5’5”). I found that the shoulders extended further than my shoulder point. The frill hid it but to help remedy the issue without having to unpick any seams I opted to fold the bias once more inside the armhole and top stitched it. I will probably alter the armholes next time. Overall great pattern! Only wish it had pockets but those are easy enough to draft/add.

5 out of 5 starsGreat pattern and pretty good instructions. As a visual person, I would've liked a few more photos in the instructions, but I was still able to make a nice dress!

5 out of 5 starsI love the dress. It's a good basic pattern. Communication with seller was very good. Questions were answered quickly. I asked for the measurements of the skirt panels, and they were quickly given. I would recommend that the measurements of the skirt panels for each size be provided on the pattern so that it is not necessary to print out so much paper or spend the time taping. I made the short-sleeved dress and I only needed to print out the short file because I had the skirt panel measurements. Love the dress though. I'll be making more with other fabric.

My first job was at a little fabric store in my hometown in Tasmania. I then studied Fashion and traveled the world in my product development job in the rag trade. Two children and many moons later, I've ended up here turning fashion into patterns.
