Item arrived quickly and was very thoughtfully wrapped. I really like the story behind this piece and I'm so happy to have it displayed in my home.

I love this print. It is one of my favourite places to be, listening to music or the radio or podcasts, especially when my loving partner is cooking by my side. Thank you for making such beautiful and inspiring art work, I look forward to seeing more of your prints!
The Story of Sheridan Prints
I first learned printmaking in a high school art class. I tried it again a few years ago and when I was having health problems and I found printmaking a way to focus. Since then, printmaking has become one of the great loves in my life.
Sheridan Prints is run by me and me alone. I make my prints by hand at home using only a few tools such as my carving blades and my ink brayer.
Ongoing themes in my work are my the themes that are showing up in my own life including my experience of chronic illness, my gardening practice, and family disconnection. I use these experiences in my work to highlight these realities and how they show up in my life.
Stay tuned for new prints, arriving every so often.
Thanks for visiting.

Frequently asked questions
All prints are made with non-toxic, water based ink. Be sure to frame them & keep away from liquids to protect them from any stains & smudging. While they will be mailed to you dry & on acid-free paper, any oils or waters added to them will activate the ink and damage the print. As human hands are naturally oily, they can cause dried ink to be re-activated and can cause the print paper to break down quicker over time. Keep out of direct sun please! The cooler the conditions for paper, the longer it'll last. Exposure to lots of heat & humidity are risky. Make sure you don't do a disservice and create the conditions for mold! Treat the print with the love & care it deserves. xx
Gift wrapping and packaging
All shipped prints are mailed in proper cardboard mailing envelopes to prevent any crinkles or bends. I have mailed many prints this way all of whom have made it to their homes safely.
