The intimate home-y-ness of this print really moves me! I'm mailing it to my aunt and uncle to hang in their farmhouse kitchen where we've spent many many hours washing-up after family dinners together.

I love this saucy print! I'm mailing it to my hot-sauce-loving bestie as a little surprise to put up in her kitchen :)

I love this print. It is one of my favourite places to be, listening to music or the radio or podcasts, especially when my loving partner is cooking by my side. Thank you for making such beautiful and inspiring art work, I look forward to seeing more of your prints!

The Story of Sheridan Prints

I first learned printmaking in a high school art class. I tried it again a few years ago and when I was having health problems and I found printmaking a way to focus. Since then, printmaking has become one of the great loves in my life.

Sheridan Prints is run by me and me alone. I make my prints by hand at home using only a few tools such as my carving blades and my ink brayer.

An ongoing theme in my work are my personal experiences with chronic illness. I use my experiences in my work to highlight the struggle and dreams of those living with invisible physical & mental illnesses that often limit people to their homes.

As well, I draw on my struggle with family disconnection which pushes me to deepen my identity through my own family history research to learn more about my own roots and ancestors stories' as well as my own relationship building outside of bloodlines to sustain myself in community.

Stay tuned for new prints, arriving every so often.

Thanks for visiting.

Frequently asked questions
Care instructions

All prints are made with non-toxic, water based ink. Therefore, they should be treated with the utmost care. Be sure to frame them and keep away from liquids to protect them from any stains and smudging. While they will be mailed to you dry, any oils or waters added to them will activate the ink and damage the print. As human hands are naturally oily, even your hands can cause dried ink to be re-activated. Handle this print with delicate love and care.

Gift wrapping and packaging

All shipped prints are mailed in proper cardboard mailing envelopes to prevent any crinkles or bends. I have mailed many prints this way all of whom have made it to their homes safely.
