My name is Lesia and I'm the owner of Snowflake Lane Quilts. I started sewing when I was 13 or 14 thanks to the influence of my mother and my sister. I took sewing in Home Ec in high school and haven't stopped since. My sister introduced me to quilting and I was hooked! I've been making quilts for my family for years and purchased a mid-arm quilting machine on a frame with the intent of starting a quilting business. Life got complicated and busy and though I named my shop in 2011, I finally have the time to spend more time in my sewing room doing what I love and can finally open my shop properly.
I use quality cotton quilting fabrics from quilt shops. I find they're denser cotton, wear better, last longer and withstand multiple washings without wearing thin or stretching or shrinking.
I've done some custom quilting work for others and would be happy to quilt your quilt top for you. Please contact me for pricing and more information.

(It is always a sunny day looking out my window!) It really brightens up the room and makes me feel happy. The piecing is exquisite and never fails to surprise me. Everything was done with such care -- even the rod pocket in back. The colours in the photograph were true to life. The item arrived quickly and safely, well-wrapped and protected.

The parcel was received in a weeks time and beautifully wrapped in a ribbon! The quality of the fabric, stitching, and elastics and buckle are excellent and I am very very pleased and will most definitely order from this person again!
