About

Shining a light into the lives of mothers when they need it the most

Spectrum Mothers Support Society is a non-profit agency in North Vancouver that is committed to provide support for North Shore women who are caring for the young children (newborn - five years old) in difficult and challenging situations.

We are a group of women who have a heart for mothers, understand the challenges of raising a family and desire to support families in our community.

We provide trained, experienced caregivers who spend time in the family home caring for children while the mother takes a break to rest, shower, exercise or attend a support group.

We provide mentors to walk alongside mothers in the early months of parenting to offer support and encouragement.

We provide the services of a doula to walk through pregnancy and delivery with women who otherwise have no support.

We provide phone support for mothers when they need someone to talk to.
