Wonderful customer service. Lap cloth is generous in size, made very well, and fits my needs perfectly. I also received a few extra handmade goodies which were so unexpected by greatly appreciated.

This bag was perfect for what I wanted and seller included a small gift on top of it!! Thank you!!

This is perfect! There are pockets on both sides with either color facing up. It is bigger than I expected (not a bad thing nor is it a fault of the seller; I'm just bad at visualizing size). Even with shipping from Canada, is was less expensive than a comparable American-made product, and it's well-stitched, sturdy, and the measuring tape detail is ingenious. Thank you!

Carmie was absolutely fantastic throughout this process. I had purchased one of her bags at a local Knitter's Guild (it has alpacas and it's unreasonably cute), and my mom sent me a link to this bag for her birthday.

Carmie was out of the fabric when I had originally purchased it, but she was quick to communicate and was able to get more of the fabric (after offering a few alternatives), make the bag and I received it in time for my mom's birthday. It's gorgeous and well-made and y mom loves it.

She also threw in a couple of bonus items and an absolutely lovely handwritten note. I will definitely be keeping her in mind for the future (because who ever has enough project bags!)

Mothers and Daughters

I have always been attracted to pretty things. I love fabric, the feel of it and all the beautiful colours it comes in. My mother was and still is a wonderful seamstress. As a small child I would sit beside her and cut and sew all the little scraps that would fall off the table. Her embroidery, amazing! I still have a few small organza dresses that she sewed for me that have embroidered ducks and flowers. I still have my very first hoop that my grandmother sent to me from Italy, my mother would have all her embroidery threads and hoops sent to her from Italy.
So that's how I caught the sewing bug.
I added knitting to the mix when I was about 8 years old. Being Italian I was always around women who were sewing, knitting, crocheting and it was real easy for me to just pick up needles and get a quick lesson. I would knit small blankets for my dolls and eventually learned how to knit tiny sweaters and skirts for them as well.
Fabric, yarn, thread and of course books, lots of books are my life staple and I know I could never live without them.

I love making things and have ever since I was a little girl. Sewing and knitting are my first loves. It was my friends that actually pushed me to start selling. I currently supply my local yarn shop with all my project bags.
