Na verdade, não há muita história sentimental por trás da abertura desta loja. YangYang sempre adorou esse tipo de trabalho artesanal e lento. Mais tarde, algumas amigas que também adoravam bordados se reuniram e pensaram: já que todas gostam tanto de bordados, por que não compartilhar essa paixão?
Adoramos fazer broches, principalmente porque são pequenos e delicados. Às vezes é uma hortênsia recém-aberta, outras vezes um gatinho fofo. Não usamos aquelas máquinas de bordar industrializadas porque elas não têm alma. Aqui, as transições de cor e a direção de cada ponto em cada broche podem não ser exatamente as mesmas todas as vezes — mas esse é o charme do artesanato, não é?
A vida passa muito depressa hoje em dia, por isso queremos apenas ficar nesta pequena loja, com estas poucas agulhas, fazendo pequenas coisas que nos fazem felizes e que você vai pensar: "Uau, que coisa mais requintada!"
Actually, there's not much of a sentimental story behind opening this shop. YangYang has always loved this kind of slow, handcrafted work. Later, a few of her embroidery-loving girlfriends got together, and they thought: since everyone loves embroidery so much, why not share it?
We especially love making brooches because they're small and delicate. Sometimes it's a newly opened hydrangea, sometimes it's a cute little cat. We don't use those machine embroidery machines from big factories because those things lack soul. Here, the color transitions and the direction of each stitch on every brooch might not be exactly the same every time—but that's the charm of handmade crafts, right?
Life moves too fast these days, so we just want to stay in this little shop, with these few needles, making little things that make us happy and that you'll think, "Wow, so exquisite!"
