Meet the Maker
Hi, I'm Sharon — welcome to my little corner of the internet, where whimsy lives and creativity thrives!
I've had a pencil or a needle in my hand for about as long as I can remember. Over the years I've explored all kinds of creative pursuits, but cross stitch and paper crafting have truly stolen my heart — they are my happy place.
From 2005 to 2012 I was a regular on Create and Craft TV, which I absolutely loved. Eventually though, the long studio commutes and a growing family meant I needed something closer to home, and I found that in a busy high street retail role.
Fast forward to 2024: the kids had flown the nest, and after navigating some real-life challenges — chronic illness, anxiety, and a hectic few years — my retail chapter quietly closed in November. It turned out to be the fresh start I didn't know I needed. In January 2025, Stitchedoodle was born: a creative venture rooted in joy, mindfulness, and a whole lot of heart.
Based in beautiful East Scotland, I'm on a mission to bring a little more happiness into the world through original, whimsical designs. From playful cross stitch charts and quirky notepads to adorable wooden pins and carefully curated treasures — everything here is chosen with a smile in mind.
Want to see behind the scenes? Head over to my YouTube channel, where I share Studio Vlogs and Flosstubes regularly — it's like popping into my creative space for a cuppa!

I'd also love for you to join my Facebook group, Stitchedoodle Stitchers — a friendly space to chat, share, get inspired, and unwind.

Let's create something wonderful together and bring a little mindful joy into your world, one stitch (or doodle) at a time! ✨
