My woodworking career started at an early age when I inherited my dads lego, I began building and developing a passion for making something from nothing. That passion grew as I got older and through middle and high school I was heavily involved in the construction and cabinet making classes, During my school years I learned valuable skills, honed skills I already possessed and gained major experience that ultimately guide me on my path to my career choice. After High School and Im talking like right after I became a Carpenter apprentice and began my 4 year journey towards my red seal and journeyman certificate. Throughout that time I had the pleasure of working with many great, good and bad journeyman giving me some very valuable experience and from each one learning a technique, a tip, or a more efficient way of doing a procedure. I am proud to say I am a red seal journeyman carpenter.

So you might be asking yourself now how was Stone Mountain Projects born?
Well let me tell you.
do you have that one friend that knows how to change your oil? and then you ask if they could change your brakes and them maybe your tires?

Well similar to that all my friends and family found out I could build things or fix things, so I evolved as the projects that came to me evolved. starting out with little odds and ends like book marks, toy trucks, shelves. And moving up to cabinets, entertainment systems, built ins, dining sets. etc.
I started out in my parents garage using the tools my pops had and began to upgrade tools as the projects got more advanced. Eventually taking over their garage with tools, wood, projects, and man glitter (sawdust) which covered most surfaces in the shop.
So as I got bigger so did my shop, I bought a house with a big ole garage and converted it into what is now Stone Mountain Projects and the rest is history.
Everyday I am learning new techniques and trying new projects to expand my capabilities and give you guys new products.
