Hola y muchas gracias por pasar por Studio Shamoni. Como su nombre indica, soy Shamoni y actualmente estoy en Seattle, WA.
Mi sueño perfecto durante mucho tiempo fue verme en mi estudio, algo de color en mis manos y cara, frente a una pieza de arte que estaba creando sintiendo una sensación de emoción al ver mi visión tomar forma. Durante muchos años tuve que mantener mi sueño en espera mientras pasaba tiempo estudiando, luego trabajando como profesional de marketing, teniendo a mi pequeño y haciendo mi pequeña familia. Ahora que he desempeñado esos papeles en mi vida bastante bien, quiero convertir mi sueño en planes y acción. Quiero pasar tiempo observando, aprendiendo y creando. Creo que a través del arte podemos descubrirnos a nosotros mismos, culturas e historias.
Me inspira el arte popular indio, el arte y la cultura tradicionales de la India, las cosas interesantes que nos rodean, la gente y sus conversaciones y las almas creativas. Ahora trabajo desde mi estudio en casa escuchando música increíble y con frecuencia admirando la lluvia. Me siento vivo cuando pienso, planifico, esbozo, pinto y finalmente veo que mi visión cobra vida en el papel. Soy la más feliz a través del proceso creativo y estoy muy emocionada de compartir mi felicidad con ustedes.
Hi and thank you so much for stopping by at Studio Shamoni. As the name suggests, I'm Shamoni and I'm currently in Seattle, WA.
My perfect dream for the longest time was to see me in my studio, some color on my hands and face, in front of an art piece I was creating feeling a sense of excitement to see my vision take shape. For many years I had to keep my dream on a hold while I spent time studying, then working as a marketing professional, having my little one and making my small family. Now that I have played those roles in my life quite well I want to turn my dream into plans and action. I want to spend time observing, learning and creating. I believe through art we can discover ourselves, cultures and stories.
I am inspired by Indian folk art, traditional Indian art and culture, interesting things around us, people and their conversations and creative souls. I now work from my home studio listening to awesome music and frequently admiring rain. I feel alive when I think, plan, sketch, paint and finally see my vision come to life on paper. I'm the happiest through the creative process and I am so excited to share my happiness with you.
