About

Just going for it.

When I was little I loved drawing, but I never felt like I had enough talent to pursue it seriously. As I got older, I started focusing on more practical pursuits, things that could lead to a steady paycheck down the road. I stopped drawing for years. Then one day on a whim I picked up a watercolor set. I'd always loved the look of the medium and thought it would be fun to experiment.

I was shocked at the result on my first attempt. Surprised that I could still draw/paint and surprised how strikingly beautiful the imperfections were. So I decided to go for it. The response has been better than I ever could have imagined. I feel like I've been given a second chance at a dream.

My approach to painting is the same as my take on life: it's more interesting when you embrace the chaos and recognize the beauty of the imperfections.

Payment
Other than Paypal, I accept cashier's checks/money orders. Large items qualifying for local pick-up/ delivery may be paid for with cash. Personal checks not accepted.
Shipping
DELIVERY TIMES (US ORDERS):

All orders ship from Phoenix, AZ, USA within 3-5 business days from the date of cleared payment. All packages will be sent via USPS. Delivery times vary based on the method selected by the customer in the checkout.

EXPEDITED SHIPPING / RUSH ORDERS:

Please contact me prior to placing an order if you need it to be delivered by a certain date. Rush orders can be accommodated, but rush order fees may apply in some cases in addition to expedited shipping costs.



INCORRECT ADDRESSES: Please verify that your shipping address is correct. We cannot refund for packages lost in the mail due to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If a undeliverable package is returned to us completely undamaged, we can re-ship to the correct address, but will need to charge for shipping again. If you notice a mistake in your shipping address, please email us right away: hello [!at] theaestate.com



International Orders:



INT'L DELIVERY TIMES:

Please allow a minimum of three weeks for insternational packages to arrive. When shipping overseas, customs can delay packages by up to 6 weeks.



CUSTOMS/ DUTIES + ADDITIONAL FEES:

Please be aware that we are not responsible for paying any customs fees. We urge all international customers to check with their local customs office/ post office to inquire about duties or any additional shipping fees prior to placing an order. If delivery is refused by the customer because they don't want to pay the fees charged by their customs office/postal carrier, then we cannot guarantee any refunds. In the event that the print is returned to us completely undamaged we will issue a refund for the price of the print only, no shipping charges will be refunded.
Refunds and Exchanges
REFUNDS/ EXCHANGES:

Returns/Exchanges must be received within 7 days in original packaging and in original condition. Customer is responsible for return shipping. All shipping charges are non-refundable.



Customized prints, including custom sizes are not eligible for return or exchange.

- "Can I get a print in a bigger/smaller size?"

Most of the open edition prints (any print not listed as a "limited edition" in title and description) can be found in additional sizes at society6.com/TheAestate. If you cannot find the size you'd like there please send us a message and let us know the exact measurement you're looking for as well as your zip code/country for a price quote on a custom size + shipping.

At this time limited edition prints are not available in custom sizes.

- "Do you do sell digital files of your work?"

Digital files are not available. If you'd like a quote on a custom size print, please message us.

- "Do you offer rush service?"

If you need an order by a certain date, please message us before placing your order and we'll let you know if it'll be possible. We also recommend upgrading to Priority Shipping if an order is time sensitive.

- "Do the prints come framed?"

All prints ship unmatted and unframed.

- "Do you offer framing?"

At this time we don't, sorry.

- "Do the prints ship rolled or flat?"

Prints 16x20" and larger, as well as 12x12" prints, ship rolled. Smaller prints ship flat.

- "Do you offer wholesale?"

Yes, we accept wholesale orders for select retailers through etsy wholesale and through email. Please contact for wholesale prices hello [!at] theaestate.com

- "What is the shipping cost to ------?"

Please add prints to your cart to show an accurate and up-to-date shipping price.

- "Can you alter/customize a print?"

Sorry, no. Alteration or customization of prints is not available.

***INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: it is your responsibility to pay any customs charges. Please contact your customs office to inquire about charges. If you choose not to pay and the package is returned undamaged, I will refund the cost of the item only, not shipping charges. If the item comes back damaged in transit, I will not be able to offer a full refund.
