"The Branch and the Vine" all started one Sunday service when the pastor was preaching about how we, as humans, are like branches and Jesus is the vine. Branches, alone, cannot survive without its vines; and so, in everything we do, we need Jesus to continue to grow and be fruitful in our lives and this world. It's an important message that everyone can always be reminded of and hence, the company name was born.

It's hard living in this day and age in a social media-focused world where fame, fortune and how many "likes" we get on Instagram determines our worth and status. To become self-absorbed where everything revolves around getting the "perfect" image, body, relationship, house, career and life is an easy habit to fall into; and we soon forget what is most important - that we are all perfect in God's eyes and He should be the centre of our lives.

But sometimes, it's a scary thing to publicly announce our faith for fear of being judged. For me, I've always been hesitant about wearing any clothes that is related to the bible or God's name, except if it's at home, church or a church retreat. But why should we second guess what is socially acceptable in what we wear before we step out of the house? He has called us as his disciples to spread his word to everyone we meet, not to hide our faith when we are faced with society and the world.

And so, that is my hope for my small start-up business: to create designs that portray a deeper message from His word and can create conversation with people as a way of spreading even a tiny bit of God's words, love, and grace in people's lives.

One Important Thing:
• Make sure you've read the entire description of the item being purchased; and that you've selected the correct item under the drop down menu.
• Please make sure that you've filled out your shipping address correctly before placing the order!
• If ordering a custom piece, such as a pillow or mug, please attach a final draft or a high resolution image of what you'd like for that order.

Returns and exchange details
All orders are final sale. Each item will be packaged with care to ensure no damages occur during shipping.

As for breakable items, however, on the off chance that you've received a mug that has been broken during shipping, send me a picture of the damaged product. I will try to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and send you a replacement mug!

Before any order gets sent to the post office, the address on the label is always double and triple checked to ensure the products arrive to the exact address provided by the customer. In cases where the customer has accidentally provided the wrong address and the order has already been shipped, the customer will have to pay for extra shipping costs to have it resent to the correct address. If the customer decides that they no longer want the misaddressed package, the customer will receive a store credit note for the cost of the item once the item has been returned to the seller. However, the customer will be responsible for the shipping costs as it was an error on the customer's part.

There are no refunds on orders that did not arrive before a specific date if it was not specified that it was needed for a certain date by the customer in the notes to seller or in conversation. All orders are made shortly after the order has been placed within the specified time frame and always shipped out in a timely manner using standard shipping. If you need your order to arrive by a certain date, please give at least 2 weeks on top of the expected ship date so it gives it a larger window for its arrival. Or inquire about express shipping! My shop is not responsible for any delayed shipping times as it is out of my hands once it is handed over to the post office.

CHRISTMAS POLICY: All shop policies apply. Also, any orders placed after December 6 may or may not arrive before Christmas and there are no refunds for delayed shipping times as it is the Christmas rush. If you need it before Christmas, please select the shipping upgrades if available or inquire about express shipping if not shown on the listing. Christmas is a busy time of the year for the post office and therefore, normal shipping times may not apply even if you had selected the shipping upgrade option as there can be potential delays with the postal service.
The important thing to remember is that Christmas is about spreading love and joy, and spending time with friends and family. Gifts are a bonus but the spirit of giving love and joy through simple acts of kindness is much more important. Therefore, if the gift does not arrive for Christmas due to postal delays, do not fret as you can always gift it after Christmas. The spirit of giving doesn't stop after Christmas Day! And lastly, a wonderful reminder is Jesus is the reason for the Christmas season!

NOTE: If you purchase more than one mug or wood sign, shipping costs are much less! You will get refunded the extra shipping costs after order has been made.

Most items will be made and shipped within 5-7 business days. All items will be shipped through Canada Post Regular Parcel or Lettermail Shipping - 5-7 business days within Canada, 7-10 business days to USA, and 10+ business days Internationally, using the most cost effective shipping rate.

If your item is lost in transit or if it says delivered and you did not receive it, it is your responsibility to track the item down with Canada Post.

Custom orders are most very welcomed! I'd love to hear your story and be able to customize the product to reflect what makes you or the person you're buying it for "YOU"!

For custom orders, a payment for the order, and a sketch or image of what you'd like, must be placed prior to the next step. If you are requiring a custom design, once payment has been received, I will then create a design based on your drawings and send a message back to you. Once the design has been confirmed, there will be no changes made, as I will start working on that order.
