From Scribbles to Stencils
It all started while I was prepping for my next D&D session. I needed to print off a few character sheets, but then it happened… my printer ran out of ink.
I didn’t have time to run to the store, and I definitely didn’t want to spend $20 on yet another ink cartridge. So, like many desperate players before me, I scribbled out a messy, unorganized character sheet on a lined piece of paper and that’s when it hit me: What if I had a stencil I could trace with a pen to make a clean, reusable character sheet? No printer. No wasted paper. No overpriced ink.
That idea launched me into prototyping. After three design overhauls (and upgrading to a larger 3D printer), I finally landed on my first commercial version and players started loving it as much as I did.
Now, TableTopCreationLab is all about creating tools that make game prep easier, cleaner, and a little more magical. I’ve got plenty more ideas in the works, so stay tuned—your tabletop toolkit is only just beginning to grow.
