This is the sixth embroidery kit I have brought from Tanja over the last two years. They are all fantastic. Her meticulously detailed kits take a long time to complete and are therefore worth the price. About Tanja's Hand Embroidery Kits

My name is Tanja and I live in Alberta, Canada where I run my home business designing hand embroidery kits and traveling widely to teach hand embroidery.

My life in needlework started after I left school and took a one year foundation course in art and design and then the three year apprenticeship course in hand embroidery at the Royal School of Needlework based in the UK. I spent some time after the course in the workroom working on hand embroidery commissions and restoration.

After a while I felt an urge to travel and left the UK to go backpacking in South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand. On my travels I met a great Canadian guy. I made the big move from the UK to Canada where we live now with our two dogs and I continue to do the needlework art I have always loved.

The needlework designs on my Etsy site and on my website are designed and stitched by myself and I write the detailed instructions for the patterns. There are are also four designs by my very talented mother - Beppy Berlin.

You will find some advanced hand embroidery designs on my website as well as embroidery tools and supplies. I specialize in goldwork supplies for metal thread embroidery.
