Printed Invitations

We have a minimum order of 50 quantity invitations starting at $250 CAD.
We require a 50% deposit on all custom invitation orders or full payment for semi custom invitations prior to starting the design.
We will then work with you to provide digital proofs of your project. Changes and revisions can be made and vary (please refer to the specific listings).
The remaining 50% of the balance is due prior to print and production.
Once you approve your artwork, we will send it to print. Once printer, we will package your order with care and ship it to you.
All quotes, proposals, estimates and pricing are in CAD.
To set up payments, please contact us. Submission of your deposit, information and design form(s), timeline, and contract are required prior to starting the design.
Rush service is available for an additional $50 for design proofs. Additional rush fees may apply for printing and shipping.
Custom Design and Illustrations
Custom design and illustrations are subject to their artists’ expertise and style. Please review examples and photos in the listing descriptions to familiarize yourself with the design aesthetics and style.
We will provide you with a digital proof to approve before printing. Changes and revisions can be made and vary (please refer to the specific listings).
CLIENT has spent a satisfactory amount of time reviewing VENDOR'S work and has a reasonable expectation that VENDOR will perform the Services in a similar manner and style unless otherwise specified in this Agreement.
CLIENT understands and agrees that VENDOR has a unique vision for every client and grants VENDOR creative freedom to produce work based on agreed-upon inspiration. VENDOR will use artistic judgment, experiential knowledge and budgetary boundaries when providing Services for CLIENT, which may not include strict adherence to CLIENT’s suggestions. Although VENDOR will use reasonable efforts to incorporate CLIENT’s suggestions and desires when providing CLIENT with the Services, VENDOR shall have final say regarding the aesthetic judgment and artistic quality of the Services. Dissatisfaction with VENDOR's aesthetic judgment or artistic ability are not valid reasons for termination of this Agreement or refund requests.
Quotes
Our quotes are valid for 30 days upon receiving it. Prices are subject to change. After 30 days a quote will be marked expired. All quotes will be in CAD.
If you would like a customized quote, please let us know and we will put one together for you after gathering the information necessary from you.
Changes to your order including quantity, paper options, materials, print methods or any additional add ons will change the price originally quoted.
You can request an updated quote at anytime.
Rush services are available upon request and will be quoted accordingly.

Timeline
Our turnaround times will vary but on average take 2-4 weeks for semi custom designs and 4-8 weeks for custom design and custom invitation design. This includes proofing, printing and assembly (if it applies). We require your response and feedback in a timely manner (48-72 hours) in order to stay on track for the timing of your project.
Speciality print orders such as letterpress and foil printing require additional time to produce the printing dies.
Rush services are available upon request and will be quoted accordingly (usually 25% of the total invoice).
Proofs
Your feedback or approval is due 48-72 hours after receiving and design proofs or revisions. This is to keep your project on track with the timeline.
Late proof approval or payments may result in a delay in your project.
Upon final proof, we will send your projects to print and production.
Final payment must be made prior to print and production
Design proofs and digital mock ups (if applicable) will be provided in a secure portal for your review and approval.
Please allow up to four (4) business days for design and revised proofs.

Printing
Once final approval has been received from you, we will start the printing and if applicable, assembling process.
Once we receive the final approval from you, we are not responsible for any typos or errors. Please review all of the information in full details before approving any of the artwork. Such errors include and are not limited to: spelling, spacing, punctuation and capitalization. We recommend you allow a friend or family member to review the artwork prior to your approval.
Once we have your approval for the final proofs, no changes can be made after.
Computer monitors and screen displays will vary in colour to the actual finished product. We recommend requesting a paper sample or paper swatch sample before your final order. We do not offer printed sample hard copies but will provide you with a digital mockup.
We do not offer custom samples.
For envelope guest addressing, we will send you a spread sheet template that you can complete. Addresses will be printed exactly as you have them typed on the template. Please review this prior to sending the final copy to us.

Reprinting
We can accommodate reorders incase you need extra invitations. We recommend ordering 10% more than you actually need just incase and to avoid reprint/rush fees. Our minimum reprint quantity is 25. A rush fee may apply. If you need any other reorders, please contact us with the specifications and details and we will provide you with a quote.

Assembly
Our envelope liners are DIY unless you have upgraded to include assembly service fees.
Our invitations are DIY assembly unless you have upgraded to include assembly service fees. Please contact us for a custom assembly quote if you need it for your order.

Shipping
While we do offer free shipping on select orders, shipping prices and timelines will vary.
We offer a flat rate of $25 on semi custom invitation orders via Canada Post
If you would like to upgrade to FedEx shipping, we can provide you with a custom shipping quote.
Monarch Design Co is not responsible for any delays or damages that may happen during shipping. We do package each and every item with care to prevent any unforeseen damage.
We require you to check and review your order within two (2) business days of receiving your items. Please double check to make sure everything is correct. Please let us know right away if there are any errors. We will work together and quickly to ensure that any issues get resolved.
Shipping times may vary depending on the season or any other situations (such as a global pandemic) and are out of our control.
Samples are mailed via Canada post and do not include tracking.
Once your orders are shipped and delivered, Monarch Design Co is no longer responsible for your order including but not limited to damages or delays.
Etsy Orders
All payments will be processed through Etsy
All orders will have a 3% custom order fee.
Etsy will automatically collect and remit any sales tax for provinces and states. Taxes are not included in the proposals since they will vary depending on your location. Refunds or Cancellations
Deposits and rush service fees are nonrefundable.
We do not offer refunds on design or illustrations due to the time spent creating those items. We take pride in our work and work really hard on your order upon deposit.
Once any paper or materials are ordered, we cannot offer a refund.
Due to the custom nature of our work, we do not offer refunds or exchanges once an item has been printed/shipped.
Once paper, envelopes and other materials/colours have been ordered, they can not be changed or refunded.
If you cancel your order before color confirmation and final invoice, you will be billed at an hourly rate of $85 per hour plus the cost of any materials including digital assets such as but not limited to fonts, clip art, custom calligraphy, custom illustrations etc.
If you cancel your order, you are forbidden and do not have the right to use or print any of the designs or files received by Monarch Design Co without purchasing the rights to do so. Failure to comply is stealing our intellectual property.

Content release and extended license
Copyright
All proofs and design elements are the intellectual property of VENDOR. Proposals, quotes, and proofs may not be shared, copied, or imitated with or by any person. Exceptions are made only for parties directly involved with CLIENT's wedding, i.e. wedding planner, parents, significant other.
As all custom designs created by VENDOR are owned by VENDOR. The custom designs cannot be printed by the bride, groom, parents of the couple, or any third party other than VENDOR. This includes crests, stationery artwork, motifs, patterns, illustrations, design elements and calligraphy. An exception will be made if VENDOR sells an extended license of the artwork to CLIENT. Extended licenses are per design, per outside use. CLIENT understands that any unauthorized use of design elements will result in an invoice from VENDOR for the applicable licensing fees accrued, which must be paid in 10 business days to avoid VENDOR referring the unpaid amount to collections. CLIENT is responsible for any fees from unauthorized artwork usage. Please note that VENDOR utilizes the professional printing and production companies, which will allow CLIENT's designs to be created in a professional and quality manner, so it is recommended to order any and all corresponding pieces through VENDOR.
All digital downloads are for personal use only. They may not be sold or distributed.
Invitations cannot be edited by the client in any way and can only be used for the intended purpose of wedding invitations.
You cannot edit, change, reuse, or repurpose any part of said design for any reason.
