Announcement    Welcome to The Sandalman! Cory Bernatt started his business in 1982 and has been running it for the last 38 years !I have made close to a 1000 pairs of sandals over the years and after a trip to Jamaica, where every artisan seems to have a nickname ( the artist on the beach in Negril was Drawman) I decided I was going to be The Sandalman, My sandals have been on broadway in Aida, in the Toronto theatre in Mama Mia and Miss Saigon. I have 2 pairs in The Bata shoe museum collection including a pair I made for David Carradine for his t.v. show Kung Fu, the legend continues. After years of making sandals, I decided to change the focus of the store to the repair and restoration of leather jackets, handbags and furniture. I won seven consecutive years as Toronto's Best Leather repair store in Now magazines readers poll and best of the decade in Toronto Life magazine. After years of fixing leather handbags, I learned so much about design. I kept seeing the same areas break, again and again. That's when I decided to create my own brand of unique handbags that incorporate essential features that are less likely to break down. From all the years of experience I have created quality and stylish handbags that will stand the test of time.

I still continue to repair leather jackets, handbags and furniture in my shop in Toronto, You can visit our site at www.sandalman.com

I was a little disappointed with the extra large business promotion logo on the side of the mask opposite the Elvis print. The photo showing the mask is deceiving in that it does not show the additional logo that will be there when the mask arrives.

Hey there, my Bob Marley mask came today. I am super super happy with it. Fits perfect, it’s light and I did the blowing out the lighter trick with it and no air comes out, if you know what I mean haha.
I found you in Instagram, very happy that I did. I’m a huge Bob Marley fan and this just made my day.
    Thank you ever so much..
By the way I posted two pictures and tagged you in them.
    Yours truly, One Happy Girl

Most bags unless otherwise stated are all designed, cut sewn and produced by 1 person. That's me, Cory! Most shops that produce products involve many people to see their vision through. I'm lucky enough to be able to see all aspects to the very end.
