Aquí en The Scarlet Thread ofrezco costura personalizada y bordado a máquina a mi clientela. Comencé mi tienda en diciembre de 2009 con algunos bolsos que había hecho para mí y mis amigos. En el momento en que comencé Etsy, tenían alquimia donde los clientes podían solicitar un artículo y nosotros, como vendedores, podíamos enviar una oferta. Así es como comencé y sigue siendo la forma en que recibo la mayoría de mis pedidos. En 2018 cambié la dirección de mi tienda para incluir piezas vintage que he encontrado. Me encanta rescatar la vieja costura y convertirla en algo nuevo y más actualizado, pero con la rica historia de la pieza original y el recuerdo de quien puso tanto tiempo y esfuerzo en hacer esa obra de arte.

Here at The Scarlet Thread I provide custom sewing and machine embroidery to my clientele. I started my shop back in December of 2009 with a few purses that I had made for myself and friends. At the time I started Etsy they had alchemy where customers could request an item and we as sellers could send in a bid. I used this as a springboard for getting orders but also as a way to make custom orders. I would then use the item that I made and make a listing for more custom orders of that particular item. This is how I got my start and is still the way that I get most of my orders. In 2018 I changed the direction of my shop to include vintage pieces that I have found. I love to rescue old needlework and make it into something new and more up to date but with the rich history of the original piece and the remembrance of the one who put so much time and effort into making that work of art.
